Our Impact Mission
At the Seattle Finance Collective, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, cross-disciplinary community of finance professionals who are committed to advancing both their industries and the region they call home. Founded in 2016, SFC brings together leaders from investment banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital, fintech, accounting, law, and corporate finance to exchange ideas, foster meaningful relationships, and spark real-world impact.
Our members don’t just show up — they lead. They take initiative in their firms, mentor rising talent, contribute to high-impact deals, and play active roles in shaping the direction of Seattle’s financial ecosystem. Through thoughtfully curated events, executive panels, mentorship programs, and philanthropic initiatives, SFC empowers members to accelerate their careers while driving innovation and excellence across the broader financial landscape.
We believe that the most enduring professional success is built not just on knowledge, but on community and shared purpose. Whether it’s helping a student take their first step into the finance world, collaborating on new business ventures, or giving back through service and volunteering, our members are united by a shared commitment: to elevate the finance profession in Seattle and create opportunities for others along the way.
SFC exists to connect, empower, and mobilize finance professionals who are ready to lead with integrity, build lasting relationships, and leave a meaningful legacy — in their careers, their communities, and across the industry.

Seattle Finance Collective was honored to partner with Washington DECA in 2025 to sponsor two scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors with a demonstrated passion for finance and a clear commitment to pursuing it at the collegiate level. This initiative reflects SFC’s broader mission to support the development of the next generation of finance professionals and contribute to the long-term strength of the industry in our region.
Washington DECA is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for successful careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. With chapters embedded in high schools across the state, DECA equips students with the business acumen, leadership skills, and real-world experience needed to thrive in competitive industries.
Several members of the Seattle Finance Collective are proud DECA alumni themselves, and this scholarship initiative was a full-circle moment for many — a chance to give back to a program that helped shape their early interest in business and finance. By providing financial support to outstanding students who have already demonstrated academic rigor, extracurricular involvement, and leadership potential, SFC aims to remove barriers to higher education and encourage young talent to pursue impactful careers in finance.
These scholarships represent more than just financial aid — they’re an investment in future dealmakers, analysts, advisors, and changemakers who will shape the financial industry in the decades to come. We're proud to play a role in their journey and look forward to continuing our partnership with Washington DECA in the years ahead.
Seattle Finance Collective recently partnered with the Pike Market Food Bank to support critical food-security efforts in the Seattle community. As part of this initiative, SFC members came together to pack more than 400 food bags for individuals and families in need.
This marked the second consecutive year of partnership with Pike Market Food Bank, reinforcing SFC’s ongoing commitment to meaningful, hands-on community impact. The event was powered by strong member participation and demonstrated how collective action can drive tangible results for local organizations doing essential work.
Beyond the immediate impact, this initiative highlights SFC’s broader mission to serve as a connector between finance professionals and high-impact community opportunities. For firms interested in hosting a giving or volunteer event but lacking the internal resources to plan and execute it, SFC provides end-to-end support — from coordination to execution — creating a streamlined, high-impact way for teams to give back locally.
